So, I've got my lovely steampunk who-esque necklaces etc, but I'm looking for something else to do... so, I've done a few prototypes... and thought I'd share

I'm thinking of doing loadsa doctor who characters, charms etc.... Exciting Times xxx

I'm really pleased with myself this week.  I have been wanting to make dragons for a while, and I just couldn't get started.  I love the work of Birdy Heywood, so decided to get her DVD.  Wow, just inspirational...

So I made my first little guy on Monday, and it went from there, each one getting bigger and better... I love making these, as you just don't know how they will turn out!!! I love this one:

He is 3.5" high, and just a cutie!!!

I then decided to make a bigger one, and my OH decided it should be a commission by him for one of his band friends.. brief:  Must have a guitar, dreadlocks and head thrown back, very pleased with outcome

I hope you like him too :)

Dragons and a Giveaway!!!!

I've finally got to the time of the year when I've got some time to create.  I've been meaning to do dragons for a while, and I've just started to dip my toe in the water.


I haven't had the time to make a big dragon yet, but I've played with a few babies

I've decided to do a little giveaway.... The giveaway is for Errol - the blue dragon.  He holds a piece of Amethyst.

Fairy wings and supplies

Firstly I must apologise for being such a lazy blogger - Bad Nici!!!

So what have i been up to?  Well, busy busy busy

I've been making lots and lots....

This week I have been mainly concentrating on learning how to make fairy wings

It's a very fiddly process, but they are sooooo cute

I'm still very much learning, but the prototypes have gone down well.  I need to perfect the process of making these, then do a tutorial.

these ones didn't work too well, I tried using superglue to glue the wires -
just ends up messy, but with a little glitter they look ok

These are finished in diamond glaze with glitter, I like the effect of these

The other thing I have decided is to venture into the world of supplies.  i don't want to go mad, but the main thing is to sell the materials that I use - I'm spending so much on materials I may as well get them wholesale.

So I've added a new section to my website - CRAFT GOBLIN, the plan is to get some tutorials on there too..
